Ford Mustang

This 1967 Mustang was built in San Jose, CA and sold new to a Gerald Hansen on January 17, 1967 by Court Fox Ford in Hollywood. Mr. Hansen had just gained employment at Control Data Corp of Mountain View, CA, selling scientific computers and the new Mustang was a treat to himself. The car was built with the following options: 298 V8, 2 brl carb, dual exhaust, C4 automatic transmission, 3:10:1 rear axel, power steering, am radio, bucket seats, air conditioning, and was finished in Dark Green with a black vinyl interior and black vinyl top. Today the car is very much as it was in 1967 and retains its original owner's manuals, protect-o-plate, CA black license plates w/ original Court Fox license frames, and original keys. Mr. Hansen would occasionally drive his Mustang to Hot August Nights in Reno, NV and show the car at various events. The car remained with Mr. Hansen until the summer of 2020 when he sadly passed away but his brother inherited the car and we now have the honor of offering it for sale. Unfortunately the records were lost along the way when the estate was settled and we cannot verify the mileage but based on the overall condition of the car it is possible that the displayed 54,500 on the odometer might be accurate. No signs of rust are present to the bodywork, floors, or chassis. The car was repainted in its original Dark Green at some point (not uncommon for a car of this age) and is consistent to its factory color. All chrome and brightwork is in good shape aside from the door handles, side mirror, and vent window surrounds which are showing light, minimal pitting. The glass is all original Car Lite brand with the exception of the passenger side window. The black grained vinyl top is in as new condition with no tears or sun fading. The interior is all original and still shows very nicely. The dash pad is free of any cracks or sun damage and the door panels, carpets, and upholstery are all in excellent original condition. All gauges, lights, signals, horn, and original radio function as designed. The A/C, heater, and fan also operate correctly. The Firestone Firehawk white letter tires are like new and show no signs of cracking or deterioration. The engine starts easily, idles smoothly and does not smoke. The transmission shifts smoothly in all gears and the engine pulls strong.  Recently the Mustang has received a new heater valve, power steering hose, and alignment. This is one classic that can be driven anywhere and is ready to go. 

Overall this is a great opportunity to acquire an essentially one-family owned classic 1967 Mustang that has been well kept and loved throughout its whole life.
